Important news for owners of projects that run on Laravel 6. On September 3, 2022, critical vulnerability fixes for this version of Laravel will be discontinued, so we highly recommend that you think about upgrading your application's kernel.
For your convenience, we've prepared a spreadsheet with the dates. The most logical version to update is Laravel 9.
Since version 9.x Laravel developers switched to 2 years release cycle, unfortunately there is no Long-term support (LTS) version expected at the moment and you have to update your kernel every 2 years.
